How do we protect the house from external elements and at the same time creating joyful spaces and views? How do we capitalize on open, outdoor spaces without sacrificing privacy?

We imagine a series of overlapping terraces filled with greenery and filtered daylight that can be enjoyed both internally and externally, allowing for a quiet, private respite that is shielded and sheltered, overlooking one another which allows the various levels to connect visually and spatially. 

The gardens can also fill tall volumes of communal spaces, creating beautiful views that can be enjoyed internally throughout the various levels and spaces, away from the undesirable external elements.
